Mrs. Moore’s Earth Science Class March 19-22


March 19th Periods 2,4,9
March 20th Periods 3,5,10
March 21st all classes
Day  1 - Review labs and any missing work.  We will complete a graphing birthday activity.  We will then work on fighting erosion. Students will be given time to create a sand castle that can last to a half gallon of water.  The goal is to have the least amount of height lost. Homework will be to graph the class data. Depending on time students will have multiple trials to complete the task.

Day 2  Shot class- Graphing statistics - wind speeds, amount of rainfall, average temperatures in locations,water temperatures in different locations of the oceans.  Students will be given a variety of datasets. The students will be asked to analyze the information to prove statements. Students will create their own graphs to use as proof.
