Day 2 - We will start with a skyward assignment. Students will then review the tools needed to predict volcanic eruptions. We will then complete a balloon activity to simulate volcanic eruptions. We will try to relate the balloon to a volcano. Viscosity will be discussed. We will create a demonstration to show the effects of viscosity of lava/magma and what that could do to the explosiveness of a volcano. No additional homework. Please complete all assignments.
